Robert Stewart is enjoying life in the rural reaches of Southern Puget Sound. He graduated from Harvey Mudd College with a BS in Engineering and continued his education with an MS and PhD in Ocean Engineering from MIT.
Robert served in the Coast Guard in the era of Vietnam and enjoyed some interesting assignments associated with the oceanographic missions of the USCG. He has been an Oceanographer with NOAA, a special consultant in the 1990s redistricting, and enjoyed coaching in high school and club volleyball over a span of about 30 years.
