The elections to be held in Great Britain on February 23 will give the British people their first opportunity to indicate approval or disapproval of the present Labor government. In view of the billions of dollars the United States has given to the United Kingdom through the European Recovery Program, we have a major interest in those elections. Consequently, an economic appraisal of the achievements of the Labor government, which has been in office since the summer of 1945, is in order.
