Defending Freedom, Combating Collectivism
Against collectivist impulses, the defense of freedom, personal responsibility, and the moral, political, legal, and economic foundations of a free society is ever necessary. Protecting the American experiment in ordered liberty is a debt that we owe to the past, and a challenge to pursue in the future. We examine the following issues in this area: the case for free trade vs. protectionism, individualism vs. the new collectivists (DEI/Critical Theory/Marxism/Social Democracy/Economic Nationalism/etc.), shareholder capitalism vs. ESG and stakeholder capitalism, foreign policy for a free society, and the foundations and first principles of freedom and free markets.

Capitalization and Corporate Tax Cuts for the Rich
“When you recognize corporate tax hikers’ massive measurement distortion on top of their trifecta of false premises, it makes it hard to take tax hike promoters’ claims as anything more than intentional misrepresentations that, if heeded, would harm those whose votes they are using it to pander for.” ~ Gary M. Galles
Running Out of Patience for the CDC
“Ultimately, the point of life is not about avoiding diseases and meeting arbitrary standards of health. Society has its necessary functions and its priorities that exist regardless of the recommendation of public health experts. It’s about time the CDC understood that.” ~ Ethan Yang
The Extent of the Market is Limited By the Imagination of the Regulators
“The regulatory state substitutes the knowledge and beliefs of regulators for the knowledge and beliefs of entrepreneurs and innovators. This means entrepreneurs and innovators have to divide their time between actually developing their product and convincing regulators to say ‘yes.’ Regulators are understandably overcautious because of their incentives.” ~ Art Carden
Fauci: “It’s a Manifestation of Your Honesty to Say, ‘Hey, I Was Wrong.’”
“Both Fauci and the CDC’s lack of transparency and honest communication during Covid will be remembered and will undermine public support in future pandemic responses. Perhaps if Dr. Fauci had spent less time indulging his desire for air time (with 300+ media appearances in 12 months) and honestly communicated up-to-date scientific findings, more Americans would feel comfortable about returning to normal life.” ~ Micha Gartz
The Skew in Science That Feeds US EPA Regulation
“The burden to society will worsen as the EPA continues down a slippery slope. Americans need to be aware that the science used at the EPA for setting air quality regulation is skewed, expensive, and of dubious public health benefit.” ~ S. Stanley Young & Warren Kindzierski
How Team Biden Ended Covid Mania Overnight
“Team Biden was able to pull the plug on Covid Mania so swiftly because they have the ability to control the federal bureaucracy, in addition to having the support of the power brokers in D.C. and a cheerleading corporate press. Team Biden is a beneficiary of insider privilege, and they used it to end Covid Mania in a moment’s notice.” ~ Jordan Schachtel
