Chapter Director

Lee Myung-Jae is currently working in the sales department of Lotte Rental, a general rental company. He majored in Global Finance and Management, English language regional studies, and Sports Industry at Sang-Myung University. He runs an economic education NGO called Fact-Based Economics Network. He served as president of the NGO called the University Students’ Forum of Korea, which promotes the importance of liberal democracy and a market economy. He recently participated in the Korean translation of Yaron Brook and Don Watkins’ book “Equal is Unfair”.

 
He aims to spread the importance of individual freedom and rights, entrepreneurship, a market economy, free trade, and the superiority of a free society by opening the Korean Chapter of AIER’s Bastiat Society. He pursues Karl Popper’s open society and is wary of a closed society. He is creating a forum for lively discussion and education for an open society and plans to create a platform to discuss politics, economies, and current affairs with an open mind in the future.
