Virginia Fournari

Dr. Virginia-Anastasia Fournari is a postdoctoral researcher (“The taxation in the construction of the modern European state”) at the Department of Economics at the University of Thessaly (Greece), and she has joined AIER as a Visiting fellow in two semesters (Fall 2021 & Fall 2022). Her research fields are Economic Sociology and History. With comprehensive studies in Sociology, Global Political Economy, and Social Statistics in Greece and France, she completed her Ph.D. thesis on “Tax and Citizen in Greek State (19^th-20^th century).”
