Carroll Ríos de Rodríguez received her master’s in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University and is professor of public choice at the Institute of Political Studies and International Relations of the UFM. Professor Rodríguez is co-founder and president of the Fe y Libertad Institute whose mission is to encourage human flourishing by promoting individual freedom within the Judeo-Christian tradition.
Professor Rodríguez’s main research interests include comparative politics, history and economic development. She is the author of Financial Crisis, Populism, and the Path to Prosperity in Latin America, published by the Acton Institute of Argentina. Rodríguez’s articles have appeared in Perfiles Liberales, Regulation Magazine, and the Wall Street Journal among others.
