Nashville, Tenn.

< BACK to CDI TOOL
Nashville’s role as the heart of country music continues, but its “Music City” designation extends beyond country to rock, blues, and its ubiquitous singer-songwriters. Nashville has even made a name for itself outside of the music world, as the home to a major financial and health research center for the mid-South and a number of universities, like Vanderbilt. It’s no wonder that Nashville ranks near the top of our midsize cities for arts and entertainment venues. Although the downtown area is packed with biking options, students living outside of the city will find the metropolitan region less amenable to walking, biking, and public transit.
