Miami

< BACK to CDI TOOL
Miami completes our major metros list. As one may expect, the city known for its vibrant nightlife ranks high in bars and restaurants, at fourth place. Aside from the beaches and bars, entertainment and art may be slightly harder to come by, as reflected in the city’s average rank in this category. Nevertheless, students can enjoy art during the annual winter Art Basel art fair in Miami Beach. Future students should be warned that economic conditions are less than favorable, with high rents and unemployment, along with low labor-force participation and low employment levels in the innovation economy.
