Our College Destinations Index, our annual ranking of best places to live for college students, has been garnering attention from some prominent publications since its release last week.

This piece by Claire Zillman of Fortune discussed our 11 criteria used in helping students weigh the value of the wider community when choosing a college.

Abby Jackson’s story in Business Insider talked about what makes our #1 major metro area, San Francisco, such a desirable place for college students to live.

Both The Houston Chronicle and The San Diego Union-Tribune wrote about the rankings as well.

And several American City Business Journals, including the editions in Silicon Valley, Houston and Tampa Bay, wrote about what the rankings mean to their areas.
