Applications should demonstrate strong research and writing talents, excellent communication skills, and the inquisitiveness to undertake various research, writing, administrative, and computer projects.
Applicants must be distinguished college juniors or older. Recent college graduates, international students, and students pursuing an advanced degree are encouraged to apply. All interns must be authorized to be employed in the United States.
Subject to availability, the Institute provides its interns with housing and a stipend; it does not assist with travel other than getting to and from nearby airports.
Internships outside of the summer months will be considered based on the needs of the Institute.
Summer Research Internships May-August (length flexible) APPLICATION DEADLINE: April 1st
Summer internships are generally full time, but the number of hours per week and number of weeks are flexible.
Participants in the Research intern program will be expected to assist researchers with their work when asked, as well as complete projects that are assigned. These could include research, data entry, and assisting with the Summer Fellowship Program.
Research interns will be allowed to participate in the Summer Fellowship Program when time permits – and are generally able to attend most lectures.
