Harvard Magazine recently took notice of a lecture C. Lowell Harriss made during the AIER Summer Fellowship. Harriss, a longtime AIER trustee, is a Harvard alumni as well as professor emeritus of economics at Columbia University. He spoke to the student fellows about changes in the substance of economics since his sophomore course at Harvard in 1931.

AIER's newest publication Start Here: Getting Your Financial Life on Track by R.D. Norton, Senior Fellow and Research Advisor, has been recommended by numerous newspapers. These have included the San Jose Mercury News, Alameda Times Star, Contra Costa Times, Fremont Argus, Hayward Daily Review, Oakland Tribune, San Mateo County Times and Tri-Valley Herald (Pleasanton, CA).

AIER visiting research fellow Fergus Hodgson's article entitled "The New Zealand Way" has been published in The Washington Times. This commentary compares the Federal Reserve policies of the United States the those of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand.
