For the second year in a row, AIER will host Columbia University's Knight-Bagehot Fellows in Economics and Business Journalism. The nine mid-career journalists will visit the campus from May 6-8 for a series of seminars designed to highlight AIER’s value as an expert source of information about economics.

The Knight-Bagehot Fellowships pay a year's tuition and living expenses to allow experienced reporters from America and abroad to better learn the “language of business.” Fellows take graduate courses at Columbia's schools of journalism, business, law, and international affairs. They also participate in off-the-record seminars and dinner meetings with corporate executives, economists, and academics; and attend briefings and field trips to New York-based media companies and financial institutions.
